Hi! I am Dolores. Over the past 7 years, I have been working with young learners in Reunion Island, Sao Paulo and Barcelona. 

 

I am a D.C. State Licensed Early Childhood Educator, working towards a M Ed. in Special Education. Calm and nurturing, I am committed to honouring each child's home values and culture by bringing them into our curriculum. As a "third culture kid" myself, I believe in fostering cultural competency in the classroom from a young age

I am an advocate for time and believe that we should avoid rushing children through the day. I think it is crucial to allow them to explore and discover at their own pace, in order to make meaning of the world around them.
